Our RPEQ Structural Engineer will attend at your property to assess the damage
We offer a variety of options for advice and reporting, and these are quoted upfront for a fixed fee. No surprises – just answers.
As part of our RPEQ registration, we are bound to “protect the public and set the standard of engineering”. Qualified RPEQ engineers are problem solvers, innovators and creators. Anyone can call themselves an engineer, but not just anyone can carry out the complex and advanced scientific work involved in forensic foundation and structural investigations. We can, and our reports and recommendations can be relied on.
Our RPEQ Structural Engineer will provide an Expert Engineer Report
Where this option is selected, we will provide an Expert Engineer Report based on the investigations on the property. This report will comment on the observed distress at the property, ascertain the likely cause of the observed damage and recommend action for repairs.
The report is extensive and includes inspection findings; inspection notes, concerns and references including applicable Australian Standards, causes of damage; recommendations; and also your next step of trusted specialists in the field you require, be they underpinners, structural repair builders, plumbers etc.
Our RPEQ Structural Engineer will provide Designs and Engineering Plans
The Expert Engineer Report you receive offers recommendations including any underpinning required, soil testing, services location, drainage and landscaping recommendations.
Where underpinning rectification works are required, we will provide expert design plans that include technical scope of works /structural plans, ensuring they are drawn up according to standards. Please note these plans must be undertaken by a registered engineer (RPEQ).
The plans can be relied upon by external parties, and will enable you to obtain fixed price quotes for any rectification works needed.
Our RPEQ Structural Engineer will assist at every step
We will keep you informed at every step of the way, from the inspection and reporting stage, and if chosen, through the rectification process right through to certification.
We recommend and work closely with trusted specialists – those that provide you with fixed fee quotes who are qualified, licensed and insured master builders. This ensures your project from inception to completion has no surprises. Where we provide the design plans, inspections are carried out through the rectification works to ensure construction complies with the intent of the design, and will meet the required Australian Standards.
Our RPEQ Structural Engineer will certify all works
A registered engineer (RPEQ) who signs off on plans is required to ensure that the rectification/repair has actually been undertaken in accordance with the design.
We will attend on site and inspect the works at various stages, to ensure the construction complies with the intent of the design. If any unforseen conditions are encountered during the works, you will have our experience and knowledge to guide you.
We also ensure all relevant certificates of approvals have been finalised before completion of the project.
